[A week and five days later...]

Hi! Welcome back to my blog!
I'm 21 here is my annual birthday post.
Enjoy!

BTW I baked/decorate my own cakes.
Saturday: July 29th 2017

On my birthday, my family woke me up with the birthday song and jumping on top of me. Afterwards we went to eat at a little bakery, where I ordered PANCAKES! and got a free cookie! and they sang happy birthday to me... it was just a little embarrassing, but the waitress was so sweet!

Then we went to run a small errand for my father that took a bit longer that it had to. During this errand was happening my brother-in-law was pulling my pinky back in place since I dislocated it the day before... (story-time perhaps?) After we finished the errand we decided to head over to the contemporary museum to check out their current exhibitions.

There was this thing going on where you would write down a promise that you want to make yourself on the table and then re-write it again on a sticky note and stick it on top. Then you would pick another's persons sticky note promise that you would also like to achieve.
The promise I wrote down was, "I promise NOT to let my anxiety stop me from doing what I love."

The promise I picked up was, "I promise to trust my instincts."

Are those the marshmallows from the Lucky Charm cereal?

I saw this and thought "aw that's cool." but my brother-in-law pointed out the message on the art.
It's a little hard to read and it took a while, but we read it. Can you read it?

I wanted this but it was $32 dollars so I took a picture so I can DIY it...
I love the message and yes I am cheap!
After the museum, we went back home! My dad put on some of his fave music videos on the TV or what he said "U-Tub" aka Youtube. We cut the first cake with my family! Then we decorated the house while Clueless was playing in the background. AS IF!

Afterwards, my friends started coming, we ate burgers, chatted for a while then began the outdoor scary movie! While we were watching the movie the grill started to light up like extremely and black smoke started coming out and we all got scared. Luckily nothing bad happened, the fire was put out and nobody got hurt. Then we went inside to finish cooking the burgers, open presents, cut the cake and to finish watching the movie.

I am lucky.
Not everybody has what I have.
Thank you to my family for their love and my sister for the pictures!
I am 21.
A age I feared to be.
Now I am excited, I want to do so much. I want to see so much. I want to experience so much.
But, I also know I have to take it slow.
I know I have to take care of myself, not get ahead and rush into decisions.
I am lucky to have both my parents guiding me. I am such a child in so many ways. Never rush into anything because of your age. DO YOU! Take your time. You only get one life, so don't rush it, enjoy the small moments, the laughs, the lazy days, the new adventures and experiences.
