Body, Relationship, Hair... Goals?

Body Goals! Relationship Goals! Hair Goals! Eye Goals! Butt Goals! Eyebrows Goals!
Like who knew these topics would be the trending things on our social medias, not me I will tell you that. Sure is fun to post a picture of someone else or a couple and caption it "Goals" with clapping hands and twenty heart-eye-to-die-face emojis.
But the real question is are these "Body Goals!" "Hair Goals!" "Eye Goals" ETC. taken seriously?
ah yes, of course.
So many girls and boys, get caught up in this goals social media world. They want to be couple goals and butt goals and hair goals and whatever else their is to be goals at, is there something called finishing your homework an hour before the due time and still get a good grade goals, because where do I pick up my trophy.
I'm not saying it is bad to set yourself goals, but it is bad to want to change every part of your body to reach someone else's looks just because they are consider "goals."
I have been asked if I have every set myself any of these goals.
My true answer, yes.
But it was back when I was what eleven years old and I wanted to be like this Hispanic actress who was slim, had a thigh gap and perfect hair. She was my goals and guess what? When I began to give myself the mentality that I wanted my body to look like hers, that is when I began hating myself.
It is so easy to get sucked into this whole goals world because it is literally everywhere!
A young girl who reads my blog (Hi lovely!) once told me I had eyelash goals... of course I thanked her but then asked, "is there really such thing or is all this goals phase a big excuse to change a part of our body?"
And she responded, "Yes, it can get very crazy at times. I have seen people wear color contacts just to be someone's eye goals."
Look, I am not saying is wrong to have a change in your life, but it is wrong if you are simply doing it to please others or just because you want others to praise you for it.
If you want to change something in your body do it because YOU WANT TO!
Once you stop trying to be, look, dress like someone else or stop trying to change yourself to please and be praised by others, people will realize who you really are.
And they will praise you for being original, for being you.
You should stop trying to be someone else's goals and be your own goals.
To simply have a strong mind, body and soul.
To have inner peace.
To live life to it's full potential.
To be kind.
To be able to show the world how much beauty there is in something called individuality.
