Autumn: New Experiences
12:04:00 AMIn the beginning of October I decided to do a small bucket list for this season. I did this to challenge myself to go out more and try new things. So far I have accomplished plenty, which means I want to share pictures and my real thoughts on each new experience.
Baking a Pumpkin Pie
I didn't do it from scratch as you can see, but I had never baked one before.
Baking is always fun, it's just that pies take a-lot longer to bake so the process can get a tad boring, especially if you are impatient.
Corn Maze
FUN! I had never gone to a corn maze before and I am so glad I did. It was fun to just walk around, sing and detach. The only thing was that it was HOT the day we went, so maybe next year I will go when it gets cooler.
Spooky Treats
Baked Halloween themed goodies. Nothing new.
Crafting & Harry Potter
Crafts are always fun. We do this whether it is painting or coloring.
BTW we actually watched ALL the Harry Potter movies.
Carving a Pumpkin
I am 21 and I had never carved a pumpkin.I want this to become a tradition.
Tip: Dry the inside of your pumpkin when you are done carving it.
Don't let it get wet or else it will mold faster.
Mommy's Day
I am so happy how mommy's cake turned out. Yes, I baked it myself.Happy Birthday to my beautiful momma!
Baby's Birthday
Also got this bebe a couple of treats for her birthday.
Kemah Boardwalk
To finish off the month.
I went to the boardwalk with my friends: rode a couple of games,
went to a haunted house and ate at a restaurant.
I love getting to do (semi) new things.
I like the fact that I simply focused on what I wanted to do without worrying about anything.
I have decided I am going to do a small bucket list each month on things I want to do.
Advice: Get out of you comfort zone. Start small and slow. Then one day you will be able to do anything you want without a single doubt in your mind.
Love you.
