2018...

It is a new year. I am excited.

It is always exciting since you basically get a clean sleigh. I personally don't think you have to wait to a new year to make resolutions and goals, but I think a new year always motivates people more.

I have made my own list of resolutions and goals for this year. So here it is:

1. Do more things for me.
Basically do more of what I want to do. Make me a priority, instead of something or someone else.

2. Go out more.
I am such a homebody. I love my room and my house and I never like to go out. I want to explore a tad more. Meaning visit more museums and places, they don't have to be far away. I just want to experience more.

3. Stay Healthy.
Mind. Body. Soul.
This year I don't want to focus on the negative or the bad.

4. Save/Budget my money.
I can budget my money wonderfully. But I can also spend it all in less than a day. This year I want to start saving: for the now and the future.

5. Live in the Moment.
I tend to be anxious at times for things that are so microscopic to the world. I can be doing something super fun and my mind is just somewhere else. I want to kind of shut that part of my brain at times so I can enjoy what I am living and doing.

6. Have a more Positive Mindset.
2018 is going to be a good year.
No matter if what is coming is good or bad. I want to face things with a positive mindset.
I want to be fearless.

This may sound dumb, but when I was in Six Flags I was "forced" by my cousin to sit in the front row of the Superman roller coaster. I was scared as shit. When the ride started I was looking for where to hold to, because I was scared. Then I decided to do the scariest thing I feel you can do when you are riding in the front row. I put my hands up and I just let go of the fear. I opened my eyes and saw the extremely tall fall we were headed to and I couldn't help but scream and laugh.
Because sometimes that is all you can do in life. Let go. Let go of the bad, the fears and enjoy what you are living. Rough times come. Life is not a peachy candy land ride. Yet, it is up to you to make whatever kind of ride you are riding worth it. Don't be scared.

This is your year.
