What is the best advice you can give someone?
Don't let other people's opinion dull your sparkle,
and for those who try, simply kill them with kindness.
and for those who try, simply kill them with kindness.
People like to talk and criticize.
I lost count of how many people have told me that I am not living my life to the fullest, how I am lazy, because I don't want to go out, how I am boring, because I rather stay in my house than go out to parties and the list goes on.
But what they don't know is that I am living life to the fullest, in my own way.
Just because you aren't doing something the way other people are or say it should be done mean you are wrong. You aren't wrong for living the life you want.
My definition of living life to the fullest is different from yours and you have no right to judge the way I live, nor do I have the right to judge yours.
The reason for this post is because I was recently told that I am boring and have a dull life because I don't seem to do anything exciting or go anywhere fun.
(Disclaimer: This was told by a stranger who use to follow my Instagram.)
Excitement for me is knowing I am going to get home from work and see my mom, dad and siblings. Exciting for me is making plans to hang out with my best-friend. Exciting for me is going to the park, jumping on a swing and closing my eyes. Exciting for me is planning the next vacation with my family. Exciting for me is writing on a piece of paper, finishing a book, re-reading a book I already read even though I know the end. Exciting for me is going to work and being surrounded by 58 loud kids that call me Miss Kim. Exciting for me is having game room sleepovers with my two younger siblings, finishing a whole coloring page, watching home videos of when I was younger, doing a new DIY project.
I am not doing this post out of rage, because it is not worth it.
I honestly don't care what people say about my life because I am happy, I am full of love to give and I don't need second opnions. I am 100% real on this blog and my social media. I don't sugar-coat stuff, I speak (well actually write) my thoughts and opinions as they come, but I know I don't have a right to judge anybody's life. So I please ask for you not to judge mine.
We should always be encouraging and kind to others.
