So if you have been around since my blog started I always do a post on my birthday. 

This year there is no exception, even though I am like 2 months late. We are still going to dive into it. 

Honestly, this year was more low-key. I didn't want a "party" or anything big. I feel like I am happy when it is just family and a cake. 

I wanted to share how my family decorated for my party and what I received. 

(Cue a very sappy paragraph at the end.)

Oii! I love them, My sister defined my decor as Cloud 9 inspired. 

I kept all of my decorations. The clouds, stars and giraffe were handmade!

Welcome back as I welcome myself back to my blog world. I been absent for a while and honestly I have no excuse other than I didn't have the inspiration to open up a post and start writing. 

I wanted to update you guys on so many things, but I would procrastinate and next thing you know a week or two had past by. I recently got a question from someone that asked when was I going to upload again. Even though it has been a week since that question... HERE I AM!

Honestly, it is the perfect timing because Autumn and Winter are fast approaching and I am excited for all the holidays and hot chocolates I will be consuming. 

Small Update: 

I am back at school and getting use to a schedule where not everything revolves around schoolwork. 

I went back to work. I work a much smaller shift now but it's in the morning so I am adjusting to waking up @ 5:30 am. 

(I smell a morning routine in the near future...)

I changed my teal curtains to some yellow see-through curtains and it brings so much more happiness not only to my room, but me. 

Although I feel more organized and passionate about school I can't help but doze off into daydreaming. 

I am adjusting. 

That is were I am as of right now.

Family & Parties 

It is a small montage of my time in Mexico back in December of 2017.  

I would like to do more of these and post them on here. 

And the last thing is about a project I have been working on. It is something new and scary, but it will start making progress soon and I will tell you all about it.

Bienvenido Dulce Verano!

(Welcome Sweet Summer)

I wanted to start this post with a little update and why I been MIA from my blog. 

 First of all, I am writing this when I am about 10 hour from flying out on holiday. 

I have been going through some changes, some are big and some are small. One of them is that I have decided to leave something behind. It was due to a couple of reasons, but the main one was because I want to look for something new. I just realized that I had to grow out of this stage of my life and try something different. I have also just been taking a break from school since this semester ended and work. It was nice to focus on me. (Kind of. I was still busy running errands with my mom, but that's nothing new.)

I just finished packing for my holiday and I will be semi-updating on my instagram: KimberlySelena


Also, I got acrylic powder nails (?) I like them. It is a struggle to take my contacts off, but I like them. They make my hands look more pretty haha even though I feel like Ivy Queen.


By the way, I signed up to Bloglovin'.
I am still learning how to use it though.

I usually make a bucket list for summer, but not for this one. I kind of just want to go with the flow. I am at a point of my life where I am stuck in the Unknown. I have no plan. I am just kind of floating. And for the first time, I am not scared.
I am happy and ready to see what destiny brings my way.

I miss you.

We all do. 

But today we celebrate that you are at peace in between the clouds. 

I have no doubt in my mind that you are okay. 

That you are watching over us. 

That in some way you are still here. 

You live in us. 

We keep you alive by remembering you. 

I stand by what I said in my past blog post. 

I have this empty hole only you, my grandpa, can fill. 

I witness grandpa's out in public and somehow they remind me of you. 

It's the need and want of a grandpa. 

Sometimes I want to call you and ask you to take me to fly a kite like in elementary. 

Sometimes I want to pick you up and go have lunch with you. 

Sometimes I simply want to hug you and hear your voice. 

I have envisioned you before, sitting among us, smiling, then you disappear.  

I talk to you sometimes, in my head, out loud, hoping to hear a response. 

Hoping somehow me talking to you will bring you back. 

I miss you. 

I feel like I have this box in me full of love that is reserved for you. 

We miss you.

But we are happy you are okay somewhere in between the stars and the moon.
